University Academic Advising offers workshops that help students transition from high school to college, improve their academic success and explore future career paths.

Discovery Discussion Group

The Discovery Discussion Group is a 6-8 week discussion group for undeclared and exploratory students, which features a variety of discussion prompts and activities, such as the Strong Interest Inventory, geared toward facilitating the student's major decision-making process. The Discovery Discussion Group is a closed group experience, so registration is required and new group members are not accepted after the second group meeting of the semester.  The group is offered each semester and typically begins about a month after the start of classes.
